Color
Overview
Our colors capture the energy, vibrancy, and forward-thinking spirit of the Foxit brand. The palette is designed to create a cohesive, engaging visual experience across all touchpoints.
Brand Palette
Foxit Orange is the centerpiece of our color palette and should be prominently featured in our designs to ensure strong brand recognition. Complementing this are Shadowberry and Eclipse, which are versatile secondary colors that pair seamlessly with the Foxit orange to create depth and balance. Golden serves as an accent, used sparingly to infuse layouts with energy and highlight key elements. Together, these colors provide a flexible yet unified system that supports our brand’s personality and purpose.

Color Usage and Hierarchy
Foxit Orange is the cornerstone of our brand and should be present in 90% of designs, whether in prominent elements or subtle touches. Its frequent use ensures strong brand recognition and ties the design back to Foxit, making the color synonymous with our identity. Shadowberry and Eclipse help create contrast and depth, balancing the boldness of orange and ensuring visual harmony. Golden is used sparingly at just 10%, adding energy without compromising legibility.
Full-Page Orange Usage: Foxit Orange is a key element of our brand identity and should play a prominent role in designs. However, its intensity makes it unsuitable as a full-page background in contexts such as documents, website pages, or large hero sections, where it can overwhelm the viewer and detract from readability. Smaller compositions, like organic social posts, can effectively use Orange as a predominant background when paired with complementary elements to create a balanced, visually engaging design. Always use the Foxit Orange thoughtfully, balancing it with secondary colors and neutral tones to ensure clarity, legibility, and an approachable aesthetic.
Exceptions include event booths or large-scale structures, where the boldness of Orange enhances visibility and impact without causing visual fatigue.
Disclaimer: Golden should never be used as the primary color or as a background. It must always be paired with Eclipse or Shadowberry to maintain balance and prevent it from overpowering the design.
Tints and Shades
To ensure consistency and visual harmony, we provide a range of tints and shades for each of our brand colors. These color variations, spanning from dark to light, maintain the integrity of the undertones across different design applications.
Each of our four primary colors include a range of at least 10 variations, offering flexibility while keeping the overall brand aesthetic intact. These tints and shades allow for balanced and cohesive designs across various layouts and mediums.
Gradients
Gradients are a powerful tool in our design system, adding depth and visual interest to backgrounds and design elements. We have three primary gradients:
Light
White to Light Orange
#FFFFFF to #FFF0E7
Medium
Orange to Purple
#FF5F00 to #541C59
Dark
Purple to Midnight
#0E0C36 to #401842
Light (White to Light Orange): A subtle transition that can be used for soft, minimal backgrounds or light design accents.
Medium (Orange to Shadowberry): This gradient provides a vibrant and dynamic shift from our core color to Shadowberry, perfect for creating eye-catching design elements that maintain harmony.
Dark (Shadowberry to Eclipse): A deeper, more dramatic gradient that creates contrast and depth, ideal for backgrounds or areas where a stronger, more sophisticated feel is desired.
Color Application
These examples demonstrate the optimal application of our color palette to maintain consistency across Foxit communications. By showing how our core colors, gradients, tints, and shades work together, we highlight the best practices for achieving visual harmony and brand recognition.
